Bombed

and I don't mean "wasted" or "sloshed". I mean I feel like I completely bombed my patho exam. I hope there is a big curve.....

I studied until about midnight last night and had a kashi granola bar for a late night snack. I like the pumpkin flax one better than the honey 7 grain I had last week. I love anything pumpkin!



This morning started off with more studying before eating breakfast.  Maybe eating my breakfast beforehand would have helped me out on the test. I had a bowl of 7 grain cereal with a little something new mixed in ;)
  • 1/4 cup Bob's Red Mill 7 grain cereal
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Bob's Red Mill ground flaxseed meal
  • 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 strawberry (it was the only good one left *sad face*)
I also had a cup of coffee with the droplet of milk that someone left over. I don't understand why people just don't finish it when it is just a splash, but it was enough for my coffee so I was okay with it this time LOL.



 After my test I went to Shaws because grocery shopping makes me feel better. I'm so weird haha. I picked up some Bob's Red Mill Muesli, Truvia, some Larabars, some pre-made guacamole that was on sale!, multigrain frozen waffles, and frozen berry mix. I tried out the guac when I got home but I didn't like it very much compared to when I make it homemade : / So instead I mixed some cinnamon in plain Chobani and dipped a granny smith apple in it. Verdict: much tastier!



 What a green and white set of snacks LOL.  It's getting to be the end of the semester, I can't wait! I'm just trying to bust out the last of my assignments.  The rest of the afternoon/evening I worked on my presentation on public speaking for my management class.  I'm not too sure about it since I hate public speaking myself but we'll see how it goes. I also have to finish up my work-study assignment tonight after I'm done watching the Biggest Loser.  Dinner was some brown rice with black beans, cod from last night, and some snap peas.  Peapod is coming in the morning! I got some new fruit for this week since it was on sale - grapes and watermelon! Haven't had either in a little while so it will be a nice change of pace.


 The rest of the week is looking pretty busy. Especially Friday but it will be fun :) April is almost over, woohoo!

  1. Haha, your cereal kind of looks like a face with those strawberries as eyes! It looks really good. I'm gonna have to try cocoa powder in my oats!

  2. @ Christina - I didn't even think about that haha, I just was trying to make it look good considering I was seriously lacking in fruit for the morning!
