Hiking at Blue Hills Reservation

Today was cool and cloudy but was definitely a good day for a hike. I couldn’t get to sleep last night though and ended up sleeping through the last day of the farmer’s market this morning. Sad I know. So instead I wanted to go hiking!

I fueled myself with a pre-hike meal of a sliced Fuji apple, plain 0% Chobani (mixed with cinnamon) for dipping and a Arnold whole wheat sandwich thin topped with a smear of Teddie unsalted peanut butter. Don’t judge my apple – he started turning brown quickly but was still tasty!

DSC00885For our hike we headed over to Blue Hills Reservation on the border of Milton. It’s where we usually go when we get the mood to hike. We picked a longer more challenging trail for today but were still out of there within an hour and a half. Those hills were quite the workout though!

I spent the remainder of me evening working on my scrapbook. Still not finished but I’m done for this weekend at least.

And I had a yummy baked potato topped with plain 0% Chobani and sprinkled with dill :)

I’m hungry now but not sure what I’m going to have yet. I’m so indecisive it can be frustrating.

Hope everyone had a great Saturday! My Sunday is going to be primarily homework so I won’t have anything excited to report *sigh*

  2. I love hiking! I don't do it often, but when I do I always have a blast. You know what else I love? Dill! Great idea adding it to your potato!
