After breakfast I managed to bust out my case study writeup fairly quickly considering the very first one took me like 5 hours. This time it was about 1.5 hours and it was the fourth one. Yay for improvement! I hope I get a good grade on it .... I think I can do it fast enough now where I may try to do one or two for extra credit before the end of the semester : )
Since I was feeling so happy, I decided it's time for me to finally get out there and try this whole running thing again. I want to be a runner so bad but that's just the thing, I'm really bad at it right now. We all gotta start somewhere though right? So I jogged (not even close to running) 2 miles, though I actually had to walk about a half mile of that because it was a giant hill and I'm such a wuss. I felt really great afterwards. This is just the beginning. I'm hoping that by the end of summer I can consider myself a real runner and not just a wannabe. Disney Princess Half Marathon here I come! *fingers crossed* haha
When I got back I mixed some VitaCoco Coconut Water (pineapple flavor!) with water. Gotta savor it slowly because it's so expensive, that's why I diluted it.
Then shower time! I swear I was a mermaid in a past life because I could stay in water forever haha ; ) Even though it is nice outside, the inside of the house is freezing! I hate how that works. While watching DAYS, I made a veggie wrap. It was huge!
- Mission CarbPlus Large wrap
- roasted garlic hummus
- spinach
- mushrooms
- cucumber
- carrots
- red bell pepper
I'm feeling frustrated with my running endurance right now too. I was so in shape last year and could run so far and now I can only run like half of that. It's driving me crazy! Just keep running and you'll work up to that half :) I'll be doing the same!
